Description
Fentanyl 25 mcg / hr is a potent transdermal patch used for managing chronic, severe pain in opioid-tolerant patients. It delivers a continuous, slow release of medication over 72 hours, equivalent to approximately 60–90 mg of daily oral morphine. It is not for acute pain or opioid-naïve patients, as it can cause fatal breathing problems.Â
